Please RSVP to confirm your spot on the bus for transportation to Sandy Run in the morning and Algonkian in the afternoon on regatta days. We have created two events for each regatta day in Teamlinkt: one for the morning trip from RVHS to Sandy Run, and another for the afternoon trip from Sandy Run to Algonkian.
Why are we asking you to do this?
- Last Saturday morning, the bus was completely full. If one more person had needed a ride, there wouldn’t have been space.
- On Saturday afternoon, the bus returning to Algonkian had far fewer rowers than it arrived with.
- To ensure everyone who needs a ride has one. The bus can hold up to 48 people, including 1 coach chaperone and 47 athletes. If more than 47 athletes need a ride, we will coordinate with parents and athlete drivers to arrange additional transportation.
- To avoid accidentally leaving anyone behind at RVHS or Sandy Run.
Please RSVP in TeamLinkt by 5 PM Friday. Your timely response ensures we have adequate seating and can coordinate a smooth travel experience for everyone. Let’s make this regatta season a success!
