Sponsorship Program

Riverside Crew is a fully self-funded team – we receive no financial support from LCPS as a tier 3 high school sport. The team is recognized as an official spring varsity sport for Riverside High School but must raise the funds required to purchase/maintain racing shells, oars, launches, regatta fees, etc. 

We are grateful for the tremendous community support we have received over the past four years. The generous contributions from families and businesses have allowed us to grow each year. 

We are committed to working with our corporate and individual sponsors to ensure maximum exposure and value. All contributions are tax deductible per IRS guidelines. Riverside Crew tax identification number is 84-4096919.

Sponsorship Levels and Benefits

Our rowing team thrives on the support of our community, and we offer a variety of sponsorship levels to give local businesses and individuals the opportunity to contribute to the success of our athletes. Each sponsorship level comes with its own set of benefits, designed to provide visibility for our supporters while helping our team achieve new heights. Here’s a breakdown of the sponsorship tiers: 

Supporter Level – $250/annually  

As a Supporter sponsor, you will enjoy recognition at a foundational level, making this an excellent starting point for businesses that want to support our team. This level includes: 

  • Name in Team Newsletter (One Edition): Your name will be listed in our team’s newsletter as a Supporter of the team for one edition during the month you donated. If you donate at the end of a month, you will be featured in the next edition the following month. This newsletter is emailed to Riverside Crew athletes and their families as well as archived on our website.  

Friend Level – $500/annually 

This level includes the previous level’s benefits plus: 

  • Name on Team Website: Your name will be showcased on our team’s website until the beginning of the next crew season, increasing your digital presence. 
  • Recognition of Appreciation: To show our gratitude for your support, we will print your name in the End of Season Banquet schedule of events pamphlet recognizing your contribution to the team. 

Bronze Level – $750/annually 

This level includes the previous level’s benefits plus: 

  • Logo on Team T-shirt: Your company logo will be featured on the official team t-shirts, giving you visibility at every event the team attends, for the length of the current season. We will need this donation prior to January 10th.  

Silver Level – $1000/annually 

This level includes the previous levels’ benefits plus: 

  • Name in Team Newsletter (Every Edition): Your logo or name will be showcased in every edition of our team’s newsletter starting the next issue after you donate until the beginning of the next crew season.   

Gold Level – $2000/annually 

This level includes the previous levels’ benefits plus: 

  • Logo on Team Website: Your logo will be proudly displayed on our team website wand be clickable to link directly to your website until the beginning of the next crew season to help drive traffic to your business. 
  • Logo on Team Banner: Your company’s logo will also appear on the team banner until the beginning of the next crew season. This banner is displayed at regattas and other events like the Homecoming Parade and Trunk or Treat just to name a few. 

 Platinum Level – $5000/annually 

For those looking to make a significant impact, the Platinum level offers the ultimate package of benefits, including premium placement and recognition across various team assets: 

  • Name on Team Trailer: Your name or company logo will be displayed on our team trailer which travels to every away regatta and is seen by competitors and spectators alike. 
  • Name on Quad (4) Racing Shell: The name of your choosing will be prominently displayed on the team’s racing shell, making you a visible part of every competition we enter. This name must be approved by the Riverside Crew Board. Please note this depends upon the availability and delivery of a new racing shell to name. You may have to wait until we receive our new shell. 

Patron Level – $10,000/Annually 

This package includes all the benefits of the previous levels (with the exception of the naming rights to the Quad Racing Shell), plus exclusive visibility on key team assets: 

  • Name on 8+ Racing Shell: As a Patron, the name of your choosing will be prominently displayed on the team’s racing shell, making you a visible part of every competition we enter. This name must be approved by the Riverside Crew Board. Please note this depends upon the availability and delivery of a new racing shell to name. You may have to wait until we receive our new shell.  
  • Plaque of Appreciation: To show our gratitude for your support, you and one guest will receive an invitation to our End of Season Banquet where we will present you with a plaque recognizing your contribution to the team.
